Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your guide for a pre-climb briefing and gear check. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp

After breakfast, drive to Londorossi Gate (2,250 meters) for registration. Begin the trek through the rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820 meters). Dinner and overnight stay in tents. (Hiking time: 3-4 hours, Distance: 6 km)

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp

Continue the trek through the heather and moorland zone to Shira 1 Camp (3,610 meters). Enjoy views of the Shira Plateau. Dinner and overnight stay in tents. (Hiking time: 5-6 hours, Distance: 8 km)

Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Day 6: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Day 7: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Day 8: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
